PAINTS:
I consider these first six paints essential:
- Permanent Alizarin Crimson
- Cobalt Blue
- Raw Sienna
- Burnt Sienna
- Winsor Blue (Red Shade)
- Cerulean Blue
- Winsor Red
- Ultramarine Blue
- Winsor Yellow
- Quinacridone Gold
- Permanent Rose
Optional Paints:
PALETTE (Any with large wells and a cover)
WATERCOLOR PAPER
- Arches 140lb Cold-pressed
- Lightweight board to fasten watercolor paper to
- A roll of 1-1/2" masking tape
- OR; a Watercolor Block
WATERCOLOR BRUSHES
- 2-1/2" wash brush
- Rounds, #6, #12
- Flat 1 inch.
OTHER SUPPLIES:
- 9x12 Sketchbook
- Small spray bottle
- Water container to rinse brushes
- Mechanical pencil 0.5mm or 0.7mm
- Regular pencil
- Kneaded eraser
- Micron pen 05 or 08
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Viva paper towel
- Kleenex
- Sponge
